For children aged 0-4.
The Little Friends of West Bank Park are a friendly community group, run by parents, who meet in the park every Tuesday at 10 am by the statue of Queen Victoria, at the top of the Rose Walk.
Whatever the weather, school holidays included, The Little Friends spend a couple of hours in the woods and meadows of the park doing nature games and crafts, building or making things with material found in the park and woods, telling stories and singing songs.
The group is open to all. They ask for a small contribution of £1 per family, per session (to cover basic equipment) and ask that you bring a sharing snack to have during story time.
To contact members of the group to find out more, please visit their Facebook page. The page will give up to date information on whether or not the group is running at any point, following government guidelines relating to Coronavirus. The organisers also post regular activity ideas when the group is not able to run.
